Oh, I'm sooo tired  :shades: ::)
Tried sleeping on cushions on the floor last night (thinking this would encourage her to stay on the floor (as oppose to the possibility she might jump off the bed if we slept in the bedroom). Well that didn't work cos she wanted to cuddle up, and couldn't fit on the cushions. So off to bed for a sleepless night - every time I heard her licking, I would have to replace the t-shirt that she'd wriggled out of. We're both still in bed and I think we might just stay here  :005:

Awww poor Chloe and you, I know exactly how you feel Sue, I slept with one eye open for the ten days, it was such a relief when the stitches came out!   I wonder if a filled Kong may occupy her for a bit, so you can get some shut eye?

ETA: Do you have a double air bed or can you beg, borrow or steal one, you may find it helps as she will be able to curl up on that with next to you.

Does Chloe have a crate you could use to keep her quiet when you can't watch her?

£140 sounds cheap to me too - I think I paid nearly double that down here  >:(

Hope Chloe is feeling better this morning and you manage to get some sleep tonight  :-\

There's a Kong with yoghurt and tuna freezing as we speak  ;) As for the air-bed, well I have a really good one that has been used only 3 times, but a couple of weeks ago my pal and her lab slept on it, and he managed to pierce a hole in it. So far, my attempts at repairing it have been unsuccessful  :shades: >:(

Yep she's got a soft one set up in the living room and she's got one in the campervan.  I think, as its such a lovely day, I'm going to put her in the camper, open all the doors and windows, and do some gardening. She settles no bother in it and it means she can watch what's going on outside.

Hope Chloe is feeling a bit better today. Milly's spay cost me 169.90 (<20kg) She is also on Advantix, it was recommended we use this because often walk in the woods.
I advise you to take a nap with Chloe this afternoon if at all possible, just incase you have another sleepless night. (Sorry, got my midwifery head on!!)

I hope you manage to get some sleep tonight, you'll be exhausted. Poor Chloe, but I'm sure she'll soon settle down and forget all about it. :luv:

She's much better thanks  :D Her bouncy-ness is returning rather more quickly than I'd expected  >:( It's very hot, so all the windows are open and the flies are getting in, so I'm trying to swat them before she does!!! She's quite happy to settle in her crate (not used since she was a wee puppy, so that's good  :D I got her 3 babygros from the charity shop this morning (thanks for the tip Han  :D)....here she is modelling one of them

Aw she looks really sweet, and is modelling that baby grow with style  :luv:

As regards the cost of spaying we're in Northamptonshire, Tiff is about 5 and a half yrs, weighs around 11kg and it cost £166.

I was a bit concerned when the stitches came out as there was this little roundish pink fleshy thing, a bit smaller than a lentil, poking out of the incision  The vets said it was nothing to worry about (I thought letting her off the lead that day meant her insides were coming out  :lol2:) and you can;t tell now there was anything odd.

I'm sure Chloe will be bouncing off the furniture very soon

She's been really good bless her  :luv: She doesn't seem to be in any pain, she's doing full body wags again and eating heartily. Resting quite a lot in her crate, but that's great. No bother about putting her babygro on either, she just stands there and lets me do it, helping by lifting her legs up. Love her to bits  :luv:
