mice bits :020:

I often get mouse bits left around the house but they are pretty tiny.  >:(

I think I would probably have popped it down to the vet to see if there was a simple explanation  :-\

Should have said it was in a small pool of clear fluid  ph34r

I really think you should get your vet to see it. It might be that wherever it has come from is now an open would and may need to be found and treated.

I agree - if it is a tumour it will have left a wound somewhere....it just can't fall out and leave no trace  :-\

This is going to sound gross but its not a dog story.   My stepdad coughed part of a tumour out - turns out he had throat cancer but he kept the tiny part of the tumour and took it to the doctors - he didn't even know anything was wrong - he's all clear now and that was about 5 years ago.

I would go to the vets, it may have come internally where of course you wouldn't be able to see.

Hope its nothing to be concerned about though.   :-*

I've had all sorts of innards, from various wild animals, deposited in my house over the years by my old cat who was an obsessive hunter  :shades: bless his soul  :luv: Stuff from rabbits, rats, voles and birds, but have never seen anything like you describe, nothing has had a hard texture  :o No idea what it could be, but I hope you get to the bottom of it and it's nothing to worry about. Keep us updated  ;)

I can't believe I've read all of this as I am starting to feel squeamish.
Please let us know what it was as I wouldn't like to think one of your dogs coughed it up. :o

The pictures of the engorged ticks made my toes curl up.
Thank goodness they aren't in the areas where I walk my two.
