Barney has a Permanent New Loving Home

As most of you know two weeks ago Barney went to stay with Jo's (joanne_v) parents as a Foster dog. If you missed the thread you can see it here.

I am thrilled to say that since arriving in his foster home he's settled right in, he loves Ruth and Jim (Jo's Parents) and is getting along just great with Jo's dogs when they visit. I've been getting regular updates from both Jo and Ruth and its lovely to hear his exploits.

So I have some good news......Ruth and Jim have said that they'd like to adopt Barney.  :D  I'm really happy for Barney because he's obviously so much happier and now loving his life.

Of course I am missing him dreadfully and I wish with all my heart it hadn't come to this but I know that this is the best for all the dogs concerned as already each dog has had a dramatic improvement in how they are.

I am eternally grateful to Ruth and Jim for giving him a loving home, I know he'll be safe in their hands. Thanks go to Jo too for coming to our aid and setting all of this up......you've made four unhappy dogs very happy.  :luv:

I'm sure Jo and Ruth will keep you all up to date with how Barney's getting on.

I'm so happy to hear that Barney has a permanent new home :luv:

It must have been one of the hardest descions you have ever had to make to let him go - the sign of a truly wonderful dog owner :luv: one who puts their dogs needs before their own and though you miss him terribly it must be great comfort that he is so settled in his new abode :luv:

I haven't posted on this thread before but have followed it right from the start and I'm really pleased it's worked out for Barney in his new home and for you as well. I know it must have taken a lot of courage and caused you a lot of heartache to decide to let him go to someone else.

So pleased that it's had such a positive outcome for all concerned  :luv:

I can never think of a good reply to these things but all I know is that Barney will be very well looked after and loved with my parents and he is such a sweet boy. He is a credit to you Sam  ;)

He'll be at the next Scottish COL meet so some of you will get to see what a fab little man he is. I lurves him and my mum is completely besotted. Poor Lily is no longer the apple of her eye!!

Barbabus Rubble Bubble is now living beside a farm with his own huge garden, personal herd of bovine bodyguards wandering the perimeter and 2 human slaves to walk, feed and play with him  :D
