thinking of you Sam - this must be very bittersweet for you :bigarmhug:

I'm thrilled that you will always have contact with Barney, and that he has landed on his paws....of course Ruth and Jim wouldn't have such a wonderful new addition if you hadn't have loved him so dearly for the first years of his life  :luv: :luv:

It is lovely to get updates on his antics. I was a bit unsure at first how I'd feel but I do love to hear about him. It's funny because I can't bare to look at pictures I took of him but I love looking at pics and videos that Jo has done. I can't begin to explain that.

I'm desperately sad to lose my little man.  :'( He's a special boy and its not the same without him.  But I can't deny that all four dogs are so much happier than they were and that's all that really matters.  :luv:

I'm so happy things have worked out like this, I know it's a big comfort to you hun :luv:  It's so hard but it makes it a bit easier when you know they're loved and happy which Barney definitely will be at Castle Vasey :luv:

I so admire you for your selfless act for all your Doglets well being....It must be such a comfort to know he is happy at Jo's parents. You of course find it hard but at least know and can continue to know it was for the best...Many Hugs to you  :luv:

I've only just caught up with this and have read all the old posts (in tears) but it sounds like you have been through so much and now you have all come out the other side, and will all be so much better off for it. A new start for Barney and a new chapter in your life, knowing he is being taken care of by friends who will always be there for you and to keep you posted with his new found happiness.

I've just caught up with this - tears here too. You are such a wonderful and selfless owner, i can't even imagine what a heartbreaking decision you've made. It sounds like Barney has truly fallen on his feet - so glad all concerned are settled and happy  :luv:
