My only comment would be that if she does not still have a distinct waist, just be a bit careful.I use my hands to fit round the waist just in front of the rear legs.There is a cocker bitch about 2.5 round here, who was a bit overweight at 18 months, and is now definitely obese. It is so sad because she cannot run and play with Rufus and Bonnie. Her owner blames the spay, but she has put on so much more recently that I did say (I know her or I wouldn't have dared) why didn't she reduce each meal slightly, and cut out treats. The thing is, I think she is given food according to her weight, which is wrong. She eats far more than Rufus who is an active dog. I have only mentioned this because, unless there is a health problem, it is easy to reduce the weight of complete food, and if done gradually, the dog will not know. This is how I try to manage Rufus's weight. I feed less than the suggested weight to allow for anything extra he might get during the day. How often do you weigh her?
