After the worst start to the year I've ever had on the tic front, they seem to have suddenly gone. It's been about 3 weeks now and not one little blighter.. anyone else finding the same?

I've only had one this year, about 3 weeks ago. Fingers crossed. However the red small squirrel ones are usually worse in August round here.

I haven't found any this year at all, usually they have loads. I'm quite disappointed, I love getting them off and squishing them :005:

excellent, although I didn't notice you had any spasmodic facial twitchings when I met you....  :lol2:

(that's what I thought when I read the title, then I realised you meant the 8 legged spider variety of Tick!)

oh don't worry, if we EVER see the sunshine again I'm sure they'll be back in force...... ::)

Of course I went and bought the remover and have only used it once. I just hate the idea of them digging into my darling and sucking his blood. But I like to give them a slow painful drowning death down the sink.

Ok, I'll try to reignite my sadistic side. It's been dormant since I got rid of the former OH (divorced, not did in) These days its directed towards green fly and black fly! Finger nails hammer or foot stamp?

I usually pop them by pressing on them with the O-Tom or put them on a baking tray on a tissue and set fire to them... muahahaha ph34r ph34r

Yep, same here, notwithstanding our 6 days in York, Chloe has been tick free for quite a while  :o

Fingers crossed here! Morgan's been tick-free for about 2 weeks now, prior to that it was 1 or 2 every day  >:D >:D
