Sound advise from Hannah

as i have done the same with my 2...we had the biting of socks..so i just used to stop putting them on once they started to play tug of war with them

and ignore both of them until they had settled...then continue ...it can get very tedious doing that numerous times but it does eventually sink in with them

and because we use to have jostling between them going out the door i trained them to wait at the door until i went out of it and only once called could they come out and sit and wait once out....i found that needs training one at a time to start with

its only the last couple of minutes mine start to bark when in the car and that i can cope with

but Lola starts squealing once we have opened the boot luckily we have a 4x4 which means neither will jump out ,so i was able to train her to sit and be quite before i get her out the car, cant say the stopping squealing as been a great success as she still does it everytime but she isn't lifted out the car until she is sat and is quite, once on the ground though she is off again but again we don't move forward until she is sat and stopped screaming

the only other problem i have with my 2 is if they see a cat on the way out the door one sets the other off and we have barking/screaming/squealing mayhem

the only thing i can do with this is to put them both back in the house and shut the door and only when they are quite do they come back out...if they start again then back in they go and only when they are quite once out do we continue on our walk

but have to say OH doesnt do any of this as he hasnt the patience

so makes my job harder for next time
