This may sound silly
« on: November 16, 2009, 02:06:09 PM »
I was on the phone to Bluegirl this morning, i was upstairs and both dogs were down in the front room, i had just been telling Karen about Millie my old girl (14 1/2 yrs), she has not been to well lately, her legs have been a little weak and she is congested. So after telling her all this, i thought it was Hattie who was barking at the window cleaner, i was just about to tell her to stop and saw Millie barking her head off going from the front room to the front door.  I know to most people this is not a good thing but i cant remember the last time Millie did this and it kind of melted my heart.  It brought a tear to my eyes, one minute you are wondering is this the beginning of the end with her and the next she is telling the window cleaner off  ::)  Long may it continue my beautiful girl. :luv:

Awww, its not silly at all, and completely understand how much it means to you.  :luv:  Perhaps you should ask the window cleaner round more often.  :005: ;)

What a lovely post  :005: You're so right though, the only time my kids are ever 'easy' is when they're ill so if Milly is up to 'stuff' you can guarantee she's feeling pretty good  :D :D :luv: :luv:

Long may it continue :luv:

You tell him Millie! :005:

I know exactly what you mean, but she is obviously happy and still enjoying life, and she's been doing so well lately, just try to enjoy her. :luv:

There is a cocker near us who is 17 and when he came here he started to run around with our other cockers and made willa look really old and grumpy at 8 years. The 17 year old looked more like 6 years.

If we ever have one at Ainsdale beach and if she is fit, then you may get to see her, sadly when we took her to Formby by the time she got over the sand dunes OH had to take her back as it was to much for her.
