I tried too, but unfortunately my OH is uber-sensible.  Think I'll have another go at him.

I met Kilty today at a Fife Companion Dog show and she is a lovely girl, she was so friendly and totally unphased by the number of dog that were at the event.

I sill think if many tears offered future financial support for her current conditions a new home would of been found by now for her  :'(

I dont understand why they are not offering this  :-\

What treatment is she recieving for the HD and she been seen by a vet regarding it?

Would her vet bills be that extensive though? The only treatment that she'll be on is pain relief for both her mammary tumours and her HD - maybe they only offer cover of vet fees if the dog requires a lot of regular treatment and/or ops

I would have her in a heartbeat  :luv:, but unfortunately due to current personal circumstances I just can't at the moment ( I have pm'd Jo about this) :'(

The veterinary costs would not affect my decision at all  ;)

That's what I would have thought - pain relief, give her a couple or 3 of lovely years, and no need to go to the ends of the earth and put her through a lot of unnecessary stuff before doing the deed.  But others would disagree probably.

But thats the thing - the vet has already said that the tumours should be left alone so keeping her comfortable and pain free is really all thats needed. Dallas had a vasectomy instead of castration otherwise she could have come to Kent with us and shared his Metacam  :005:

Kilty is reserved for a wonderful family in Warwick  :luv:  She will have 2 big brothers (one american and one english cocker who are 10 and 12.)  She will have all the love she could ask for and will receive all the medical treatment she needs in the future.  Will miss her but so happy.  :D
