I'm sorry that Buffy wasn't as good as expected yesterday, and here's hoping that she will have picked up today. :luv:

I'm hoping that no news is good news... :-*

Just got home ....... with BUFFY!!!!!!  :luv: :luv: :luv: :luv: :luv:
She managed a drink this morning and when that didn't come back up, they tried her on a little food.  I had to keep calling all day to make sure she hadn't been sick - and she wasn't!
I went to collect her and she was crying in the kennel, but went crazy when she saw me!  She is back to my little waggy girl, albeit with a buster collar, sore tummy and lots of bald patches where they have taken bloods, put drips in etc (she was so dehydrated her veins collapsed so they had to try a couple of places!)
She has been in the garden and done the biggest wee I have ever seen from such a little girl.
She is in her crate with a dish of water and has just had a tablespoon of the special food they gave me!

I am absolutely, totally over the moon to have her home with me!
She has to go back tomorrow evening as they don't want to leave her all weekend just in case, so we have a 6.30 appointment to ensure all is ok to keep her home for the weekend!
Thank you all sooooooo much for your positive thoughts.  They have really helped me, and I am sure helped Buffy too.

The rest of the gang are very inquisitive and want to sniff her and lick her, but I am doing my best to keep them away (which is why she is in the crate at the moment)
We will have her on a blanket in the living room with us tonight which will upset the rest of the gang, but she needs cuddles and they can survive one evening without me!!!

Thanks again.
Penny,   Dexter (cavalier x poodle), Alfie (Whippet cross)  and  Maximus the cocker spaniel!!

RIP my 2 most gorgeous cocker girls - Buffy and Harriet - both waiting for me at the bridge. Joined by my beloved Josie taken too soon and Suki aged 13 :(

What fabulous news Penny, I have to admit that I was almost scared to log on to see if there were any updates on Buffy.   I am so pleased your little girl looks to be on the mend, fingers crossed she is over the worst now.  I hope you all manage to get a good nights sleep.  Sending lots of gentle hugs to you all. :luv:  Sandra x
