He was called Duggie, pronounced Dug-ee, but is now Dougie, pronounced Doog-ee. Up here the name short for Douglas is the latter, but I believe that in England, it is spelled Dougie, and pronounced Dug-ee, am I right? Or am I confusing you?! Ok I was confused but think I got it now I thought you were saying you have been calling him Doggy, but I thought he was Dougie which is what you were calling him, but now your calling him Doogie but spelt Dougie. I think its the difference in the spelling as you say, and I thought people found my names confusing

Can I just call him "handsome boy" Fiona - much simpler
Fiona - I just don't know why you didn't call hin STAN in the first place *runs and hides*Doogie welcome hun - bet you are real grown up since the last time I saw you
Well I'm genuinely surprised that someone calls their dog by it's actual name Why don't you just do what all us 'normal' people do and shout 'Smeg', 'Stink' or 'Oi!' when you're trying to get him back?? or just use a whistle

OH wouldn't let me, cos, of course, he works with a Stan. He is very grown up now, but still mad. Rhum must be a big boy now too.
