Tesco 'ding'!!!
« on: February 15, 2010, 07:49:18 AM »
Does the Tesco 'ding' in the tv advert drive your dog mad?? >:D

Ever since Holly was a puppy (she's 2 now) it drives her to distraction.
She barks and runs around in circles for ages!!!   We have tried all sorts
to calm her down but to no avail.   Even if she is in the other room or in
her bed and she hears it she jumps up barking and whining!!
Sam (7 months) jumps up and looks at her as if she is stupid.  :huh: He then runs
after her and tries to lick her and tell her its OK.   So it obviously doesn't
bother him.
We have to be on the ball and as soon as Tesco comes on, we grab the remote
and put to mute!!!

We know she is a bit of a 'diva' and 'itsy', but we thought she would have outgrown it
by now!! ::)

I am so pleased to hear it is not just my dogs.....................it is like all hell let loose when it happens, they go mad to get to the door.  I wouldn't mind, but it sounds nothing at all like our door bell.

Yup its even worse when she is half asleep as she wakes with a start runs to the back door sticks her head out of the cat flap and barks like mad. She doesn't normally bark otherwise :lol:

Tilly goes mad at any doorbell type noises or doors being knocked and unfortunately she's not very good at telling the difference between our door and doors on TV ::) :005: I saw this ad for the first time today and sure enough as soon as she heard it she leapt up like she'd been electrocuted and charged off down the hall barking her head off.
