The longest lasting thing I've found ( apart from the pizzles which last for days) are called Dentabones - they are basically large, very hard bone shaped dog biscuits made with venison. I bought them on Zooplus. I sometimes take Carlo to the office and he sits under my desk all afternoon chewing one of these. Venison ears and cows ears are also winners  - all from Zooplus but some petshops sell them. I bought some ostrich tripe recently which lasted a good while but it upset his tummy.

Made a big mistake,  >:( As I'd never bought nylabones before - thought I'd just get them a small puppy one first  ::)  pack of 3

Gave Flo hers, she grabbed it straight away and before I could turn round she had bitten off the rounded end and eaten it  :o

I managed, with great difficulty to get the remaining bone off her, read the packet and apparently the bigger they are, the harder to chew they are.  ::)

Barnaby had hardly started on his  :005:

Anybody with a pup wanting  1  unused, 1 with a few teeth marks, and one with the end bitten off ?

I also got some venison tongues which are gone in no time, and some fish twists which surprisingly lasted longer than I thought. ;)

Oh yeah, some of the puppy Nylabones are edible!! I buy the wolf sized ones and they last for ages, Rodaidh's trotting around with one hanging out of his mouth like a cigar even as I type this :005:

:005: That'll teach me to read the label first  ::)

May try a WOLF sized one Nicola, as she seemed to like the taste  :005:

:005: Can just picture Rodaidh with his cigar  :-*

Morgan has Nylabones and prefers the white chicken-flavoured ones. He does eventually gnaw the ends away but it takes weeks and weeks before they need replacing.

I have 3 cockers and the middle one,Ruby, also demolishes most treats in a blink. I have found that Hollings Cows Ears are low fat compared to Pigs ears and they last twice as long....Takes Ruby up to 40 mins to get through one. You can get them from Swell Pets or Feedem and they work out at about 40pence each. Well worth it !
