Here's what happened to Daz , now called Taz .
Our story, we had a beautiful rescue cocker spaniel called Sophie, unfortunately we had to have her put to sleep last august, at 13 years old, because her back legs went, we were devastated.
After taking some time to grieve we started searching for another cocker spaniel, mainly on the internet.
We weren't sure weather to have a puppy or another rescue dog, what we did know is it had to be a cocker spaniel.
While out shopping at our local supermarket we met a lady from P.A.T.S who was collecting outside the store, after chatting for a while she suggested we tried the Cockers Online website for another spaniel.
When we got home we had a look at the website and came across a post by Jasper_boy describing Daz, I knew straight away that he was the one for us , so we contacted Dogs Friends and began the adoption process .
On Saturday 6th of March at 2pm we collected Daz ( now called Taz ) from his foster home and he became a new member of our family.
Once we arrived home he seemed a bit unsure about his new surroundings but that's only what you'd expect.
We think it's going to take Taz sometime to fully settle in, he is very happy with us, but we do think he has some memories that may take time to get over.
We'd like to say a big thanks to Dogs Friends and all that have helped us find Taz .
Here's a picture of Taz now.
