Have been out and just logged on to check for news  :-\  How are things now Nic - has Tilly had the op?

The vet rang about 10 minutes ago, she's had the biopsies taken and was literally just off the table when he rang. They're keeping her sedated and on the IV fluids, I have to ring back at 4 o'clock to see how she's doing then. I'm so glad she got through the GA ok, although he said it was difficult to stitch her bowel up again, there's quite a lot of granuloma tissue there and it looks very messy. He took samples from her stomach, liver, and several parts of her intestines and it's probably going to be about 5-7 days before any results come back although just from looking he said it looks quite severe :-\

OMG Nicola, I have only just seen this. How awful.

I am so sorry she is so poorly. Thrilled, of course, that she  has made it through the op. I will be thinking of her (and you) as you wait for the biopsy results and for her recovery from the surgery. I hope that goes well with no complications.

Pleased to hear that she's come through the GA, but really sorry that it doesn't sound very promising overall at the moment.

Oh NIc - I really dont know what to say- I am heartsick that Tilly is ill and you are having to go through this- am thinking of you and am at the end of the phone if you ever need me (but can imagine you inundated with calls and prob just want to keep the lines free for the vets!) Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you xxxx
