OH took over duties this morning for a few hours so I could get some sleep, I'm zombiefied ph34r  There's not really much change in her, she's now eating herself without me having to syringe it in and her temperature is still ok but she's still very lethargic, very uncomfortable  and still has terrible diawotsit. I don't think it's going to change much until they get her onto some sort of medication so it's just a matter of hanging in there until next week really. She's still wagging her tail and still licking faces and chewing ears though :luv:

If she is feeding herself thats got to be a good sign hasn't it. Glad she is licking and wagging her tail. Still got everything crossed for the lovely Tilly. Keep strong :luv: :luv:

I've just caught up with this thread, so sorry to hear about your little girl, I hope as I write this she's getting some strength back and starting to pick up a bit.
You must be very tired and worried, try to make sure you look after yourself as well because you're the most important person in her world and she'll need you to be well too. It's easy to put yourself on the back burner and forget your own needs, try to make time to eat well if nothing else or you'll become run down as well. The dogs won't mind what you look like but they need you to be well.
It made me wonder if dogs get Coeliac Disease as well as people, I know some dogs are on gluten free foods but I guess the biopsies would show it anyway if the villi are flattened. It's an auto immune disease with the same symptoms but easier to control than the other possible diagnosis.
Hope all goes well and she feels better soon.

Edited to add - Nicola we posted at the same time, good to hear your OH is looking after you as well x

so glad Tilly is managing to eat by herself now, thats positive news.
She is amazing to still be wagging her tail despite being uncomfortable, its good that she is such a trooper she is obviously a real fighter  :luv:
keeping her in my thoughts at the moment and hoping you get results back quickly so you know where you go from here and hopefully can get some medication going to start to improve things.

take care of yourself and stay strong

glad you've had a tiny bit of rest :bigarmhug:

The diawotsit won't be sorted until she's on the meds so as long as she's making tiny steps forward then that is fabulous - bless her for being your licky chewy girl, that made me a bit leaky eyed

Oh Nic I've only just seen this. I'm so sorry Tilly is so unwell.

Having said that, it sounds like she's holding her own at the moment, eating and responding to you  :luv:

Hang in there, get sleep when you can so you look after yourself too.

We're sending our best wishes for clear results and a strong recovery  :luv:
