Thanks again all... Tills is better than she was last week. I'm considering sleeping upstairs tonight for the first time since the bin raid last week and just coming down to check on her a couple of times, last night she only needed out twice so I'll see how she goes as the evening wears on. In herself she's ok, I can't really say any more than that, she's not as good as she was but she's not as bad as it could be :-\  It's so difficult to judge, she just sucks up whatever is thrown at her and keeps going but it makes it very hard to know how she really feels.

Haven't posted a lot, but been keeping an eye on the thread.  Thinking of Tilly & you.  It's a real up and downer emotionally when they're ill long term. xx

Thinking of you too. I wish they could tell us how they're feeling - they are so good at just getting on with things, aren't they!

My heart truly goes out to you and your little wow, I know EXACTLY what you are going through and the gut wrenching anxiety that goes with this situation, please try to sleep as much as you can and eat properly,, last thing she needs is someone so jaded and 'out of it' that things become out perspective and so depressing there is nothing but sorrow and darkness, and try generate positive feelings for this little sick dog.
If you get really down talk to someone who understands, who has been there, I did that once in the past at a VERY bad moment, and trust me, it helped more than I dreamt possible, I hope you have people around you to turn too......I have everything crossed for Milly....Be focused and concentrate on what you can do for her not what you cannot

I keep looking at this thread and really have nothing helpful to say.  Just wanted to say that both of you are never far away from my thoughts. :bigarmhug:

Thanks Patsy and everyone else, you're all really lovely :-* I have moved back upstairs, I was like a zombie sleeping on the sofa again and being woken up 3 or 4 times a night, I've slept downstairs most of this year so far and it does get pretty wearing. Thank god I work from home but even so I've not exactly been productive recently :-\  She does still need out most nights but she cries at the bottom of the stairs so I can get down to her. I've tried having her upstairs with me but she won't settle unless Rodaidh is there too and Caoimhe won't sleep downstairs on her own so I have to have all 3 of them and they all insist on sleeping on the bed which means I get woken up anyway as Caoimhe and Ro have a constantly running competition to see who can push the other one out of the way and sleep right on my face plus with C having been in season until the weekend it wasn't possible to have them all together anyway.

We haven't really had the same heatwave you guys have down south so she's not been suffering too much in the heat. Her lymph nodes are still very swollen, they haven't gone down at all as far as I can tell and that's my main concern. Our vet is back from holiday this week so she's got an appointment to see him again on Thursday.

Got everything crossed for Thursday for you  :luv:

We had the same problem with Louis not settling upstairs, its a nightmare isnt it  :-\ So glad you have moved back upstairs though, you must be exhausted with sheer worry anyway without the addition of no sleep on top.  :'(

Healing thoughts for Thursday for Tilly  :luv: She is a special girl Nicola  :luv:
