How to ruin a walk
« on: April 21, 2010, 07:00:03 PM »
We were having a lovely walk this morning, sun shinning although a little chilly.  Hattie was running around with her friend Buddy a working cocker.   Then she was in front of us playing with a stick (i thought) when i got closer i realised with her behaviour it was more likely to be food, except it wasn't it was a big chunk of dog poo :o.  I tried bribing her to drop it, even liverbread did not work, she just stood there with it hanging out of her mouth like a cigar, trying to eat it as quick as possible :020:.  I managed to grab her collar and my friend picked the rest of the poo up.  This is the first time she has done this, my old girl Millie used to eat her own poo, but not any other dogs.  My stomach was churning all morning and there is no way i am having cocker kisses to night :005: >:D

I've just nipped on and had to have a chuckle at this I'm afraid. Our Angel always sniffs at hers ( and the others ) as if she is checking that it is the correct vintage for her! I didn't tell Frank Kane about that when he judged her at Crufts this year!!! Lol x

Mine rarely eats it(except sheep poo),but he happily rolls in it every time he gets the occasion  >:D, so I can understand your feeling. It drives me mad, especially when he's had a bath the day before
Life is just better with two cockers :D
