We went to a local agricultural show on Monday and took Skye along - first time she has ever been anywhere like that. She coped brilliantly and wasn't at all worried by the crowds, all the animals and other dogs or the noise. I was really pleased. We decided to enter her in a couple of classes in the Companion dog show and she was placed third in the AV Best Puppy class, being beaten by a Shiba Inu (sp?) and a St Bernard who had both legged it over from the main Championship Show ring to take part! She was a little star, gave the judge lots of kisses and walked beautifully on lead (belive me, that is amazing!)

We also went in prettiest bitch, but didn't get placed - my husband said he thought one of us would have won - either me or the dog!!

Forgot to take the camera

. Will post some current pictures before she has to leave the puppy board. She is will be10 months old tomorrow and is maturing (slowly, thank goodness

) into an absolutely delightful dog. She is so loving, loyal and such a comedienne. She has enriched all our lives, not least our dear nervie lab Millie. She brightens each day and we all love her to bits.
