We have noticed some unusual activity involving the COL Members list indicating that perhaps we have a spammer in our midst or someone else attempting to procure multiple email addresses for whatever reason. We have also received a number of complaints from members of advertising via PM. Using COL's member list to send adverts for puppies or commercial products/services or to recruit members for other forums is strictly against any normal forum etiquette and needless to say isn't allowed here.
We do try to weed out "undesirables" who join the forum merely to access member details but invariably in a membership this size, the odd one or two can slip through the net. So do let us know if you receive any email or PM from a COL member which concerns you. If you don't want your email address to be visible to other COL members, remember to check the box "Hide email address from public" (you can find this in Account Related Settings in your Profile). NB Email addresses are
never visible to non members but can be accessed by other members if the above mentioned box isn't checked.
