Sounds very much like pancreatitis to me - our Jack has had it loads of times and is triggered by an overdose of fatty food. I think I'm right in saying that the pancreas goes into overload mode and produces so many enzymes that they begin to feed on the pancreas itself. Try not to worry too much (easier said than done, I know) but antibiotics and a course of medication normally does the trick. And please don't feel guilty or that you've failed her in any way. The fault lies with the people who gave her the food in the first place. I'm sure your little one will be fine soon enough. :bigarmhug:

I agree - it sounds very much like the symptoms that we had with Freddie though Jazz's are more severe.  Do hope she recovers very soon BTW Freddie is enjoying his Chappie diet tell her!  I was told by our vet that there are two things Cockers are very prone to and, of course, one of them is pancreatitis - the other being disc problems.

Poor Jazz.  Hope she is back with you again very soon.

It is so hard to keep an close eye on things when lots of people are around, and especially little ones.....they think they are being kind letting the dogs have treats.

Fingers, toes, eyes and everything else crossed that all will be well.  :luv:
