Im so glad Ive seen this as Jerry is exactly the same and it has worried me! Ive even mentioned to the vet but he didnt seem concerned.  He rarely has a wee last thing at night- prefering to run straight to his bed and blankey and get snuggled down, and then if the weather is rubbish in a morning he often refuses to go out on to the garden  :o

I'm glad I've seen this too as Ebony was a nightmare to house train as when we got her in January we had 2 weeks of very deep snow followed by 3 weeks of torrential rain. Snow was fine to run around in but we used to get the look of surely you don't expect me to squat in that, and rain well  :shades:

Consequently I was worried that she had become fearful of going outside as I would spend hours outside with her in the morning and bedtime and she just wouldn't go. She now goes around 9.30-10pm and then waits until 8am. We've never had an accident or her wake up in the night to want to go out

Yip, I have one here too that is part cocker, part camel  :005:  Where do they hold it all!

Yup, and my Louis   Alice also has the capacity to hold on much longer than you would think imaginable - when she came to live with us a mature princess it was clearly unsettling for her as you can imagine, and I don't think she wee'd or poohed for over 24 hrs  :o :o

Yes my boys are good at holding too.....even when they do go out in the garden, it's more to mark than to relieve because it's only a tinkle......I reckon they save it all up for their big country park walks when they pee up every single tree...yes all 100000 of them...in the end they are just cocking their leg!

Willow the Lab is definitely a camel.....if it's too cold or raining...she's fine where she is thankyou very much!

My two are amazing at holding it too - doesn't matter what time they are let out in the morning, no problems and if it's raining they would hold on until lunchtime given the choice ::) I had a problem with Dave recently as he was so freaked out by the building works in the garden, he didn't think he could pee out there but he's over it now thank goodness ::) Normy I have problems with in the snow as she absolutely loves it and eats so so much that I usually come down to a swimming pool in the morning ::) Other than that she's cast iron girl too :luv:

Tucker is the same.  Drives us NUTS!  He can go hours and hours without peeing but then piddles the minute he gets excited.   :005:

We are the original cast iron bladder here.  Muppet just doesn't pee.  Goes for hours.  If she doesn't want to go, she doesn't!
