Recently I bought a new car, Now usually the muddies will sit on the back seat secured by their leads in case of accidents. The only problem being if Katie (or smudge) find something yuckie or wet to roll in. Mudpacks are Katie's favourite

So what I thought was get a crate and put the back seats forward and secure it to the car floor (I very seldom have more than one passenger.)
Do you folks think it might be a good idea to assemble the crate and sit it in the living room for a couple of days so they get used to it - leaving door open so they can wander in and out as they please. - or should I put it directly in the car and take them somewhere really nice on their first few journeys?
Any thoughts appreciated.
