Wished crates had been around 18 years ago (well they might have been but not popular then!)...our Bessie Labrador ate the house up big time!

Our two puppies go in crates at night and when we aren't able to watch them - they like having their own place.  Can't imagine how we managed before crates - I would imagine our house would be in bits by now!

When jasper was a pup we tried everything, the only thing that worked for us was Tobasco sauce.

Oh, I swear by crates but this is for when she is on the prowl!  I am liking fairy up liquid and tobasco at the moment.  I will report my findings!  :shades:

Thank you

we used perfume!  :005:

it was a bit overpowering some days  ::) . I used an old bottle of perfume and sprayed it on the areas (skirting boards mainly) that he was chewing.

worked a treat! he stopped doing it after about 2 weeks.

good luck  :D

We use tee tree oil, doesn't harm the wood but puts them off.  May need to reapply a few times to get the hint!

Alfie was very keen on the uprights for the doors and banister for a good old gnaw. I know you said the bitter aloe spray didn't work but I found that this Bitter Apple one from Amazon was very effective. I had to spray them every few days until he got the message as they seemed to need 'refreshing'!
