The vet has just 'phoned and Charley has come through the GA with no problems.  He has had eight teeth removed and there was inflammation on his tongue and lips due to the infected gums.  He will be on antibiotics and painkillers for five days as well as a soft diet.  I'm collecting him at 7.20pm tonight.

Any suggestions for a decent wet food for him?

the only wet food i can think of is Nature Diet, i am sure that others will come up with some other options, i hope Charley's mouth is not too sore. ;)

My mums dog recently had 9 teeth removed she went on chicken /fish /pasta and rice and loved it ..very spoilt  then moved on to Royal Canin tin food the vet gave them. Sadly she can no longer have milky bones which she loved she has to suck a smacko instead  :005:
hope Charlie is feeling better very soon  :luv:

Glad to hear that Charley's op went well :luv: :luv:

Me too :bigarmhug: ....& hope he's back home with you now having lots of love & cuddles  :luv:

Tinker was given tinned Royal Canin chicken & rice after her OP - easy to eat & digest & higher in protein to aid recovery (apparently   ;) ) she really liked it & managed fine on it.

Great news!  Hope Charley is feeling OK this morning  :D

Naturediet or Natures Menu are good wet foods.

Are you giving him arnica?  Will help with the healing and minimises bruising  ;)
