Tali still has SA. I'm working on it but it's a slow process.
Yesterday for the first time in weeks, the OH and I went out for some lunch and left Tali at home. We heard him bark on our way out but not when we got back. We went indoors and after Tali had a quick wee at the tree, we went back upstairs for a cup of tea and played with Tali.
About an hour after arriving home we took him for a walk. We came across two neighbours sitting on the lawns outside who said hello to Tali and saw my OH's bags, he was going home after the walk.
Mrs Bischon, who owns Barney, proceeded to tell us Tali had been barking all afternoon, (we didn't go out til just before 2pm and were back by 3.45pm), and they gathered we were home as he's finally stopped. My OH said he hadn't been barking when we got home and I told her we had actually been home an hour. She then started questioning whether he barked if mum was there and I wasn't, in truth I actually don't know as I'm not there.
I'm going to have to leave the video camera on to see next time I go shopping.
I explained it's seperation anxiety and what I was doing to solve it but it's a slow process, but she wasn't interested as she just ignored everything I said and suggested some sort of electric barking collar. My OH asked her nicely if she had ever felt the shock from one of those and when she said no, he told her it was bloody painful. Her reply was "Well, if it stops him barking...."
I can see we are going to have alot of problems from this bint.
