Spoke to Andrew earlier who did the op, he says she is quite depressed still ( which isn't surprising considering what's she's been through), although she does perk up a lot when he and the vet nurses go over to play with her! I asked him if she is at a level which he is happy with at this stage and he said he is perfectly happy with her progress to date. She is having a little walk with her harness holding her back end up and the nurses have started the physio on her legs. Still not eaten but it's only just over 24hrs since her op. I just want her home but I know that she is still in the best place for her at the mo.  :luv:

Just spoke to the nurse for this mornings update. She is a bright as a button (their words) this morning in herself. She has worked out that if she doesn't eat she gets more attention and gets shringe fed. So, the vets have resigned themselves to the fact that she will now be shringe fed until she comes home because she is enjoying all of the attention. Little madam! She is still the same with her legs but they are taking her out with a harness and giving her a little "walk" around. It's taken a weight of my shoulders that she brighter as Andrew worried me last night when he said she was despressed. From experience I know that a depressed dog can soon go downhill fast. More news later. Big thanks for all of the good wishes and thank you Jenny for the ecard, it really made me laugh. Thanks to Heather as well for the show report updates!  :luv:

So pleased that all is going well.I think that the vets are amazing, my recent experience has shown me how much they care about the individual dog and the character of the dog itself.Hope things continue to improve.
