We've had to change our cocker's night-time habits several times since we brought her home. Though she didn't originally sleep in our room, at one point she did for several weeks, and moving her after that required considerable patience!
If Indie is finding hard to adjust to being outside your room, and thereby trying her best to pester you into letting her back in the room

, you might try leaving your door open for her at first. That way she can get used to being outside the room, but still able to smell/hear you. We did this with ours, and just made sure to leave her lead on but tied to something. We made sure she had plenty of room to move around at night in order to get comfortable, but still tight enough that she couldn't just wander back into our room.
See if that makes any difference to Indie. After a couple of nights (or weeks) or this you could then start to close the door, and/or move her farther away from your room.
Remember that cockers are incredibly intelligent and stubborn little things! And even though she's no longer a pup, when it comes to moving their sleeping arrangements sometimes you have to go back to basics (especially if you're trying to permanently change them)!
On the bright side, our littl'un has gotten so used to being moved around that now she doesn't give a monkeys where she sleeps!
