Phoebe is in the wars, she hurt her eye a few weeks back now and has had a few trips to the vets and a few different types of eye ointments to clear up an eye ulcer. We were back at vets on Monday as her eye seemed to be clearing up then it started to look sore again. They examined her again and they've basically told me to bring her back again on Thursday as if it doesn't improve they need to check it out surgically and look for a potential foreign body in it. They were also talking about suturing the 3rd eyelid across her eye to help it to mend. Sounds a bit icky especially as we saw a dog in the waiting room before we went in who'd had the same surgical procedure.
I have to take her fasted for 10.10am tomorrow morning. Her eye doesn't look like its responded much to the treatment so far so I'm assuming that she's more likely to have an op than not. This will be her first anaesthetic if she does and that will make for a very worried Mum
