Wafer Ham treat

Is this kind of treat ok for a dog?? want to give him meat when i train him, just wondering if its ok to give to him

I probably wouldn't use ham because of the salt content  

If you want high value treats you could use chicken, tiny bits of cheese or get your pinny on and make some livercake or tuna bread - Coco goes mad for all of these

Oh, and I sometimes use a tube of Primula cheese for recall only - keeps for ages in your pocket, not messy, dogs love it and you can just squeeze a bit out and let him lick it    Just don't mix it up with your own cheese in the fridge
