I hope I can put this in the best way possible but dogs do not know what cancer is and have no fear of it. They just know they are feeling a bit rough. They look to us for support yet we know what cancer is and we are scared for them and for ourselves.
Bella needs your love now. I know you worry but try to hold out as much hope for her sake.

My oncologist told me that to buy 3-4 months is like a couple of years to a dog. How many humans would love 2 years from diagnosis? They are lucky. They don't know. They just know they feel a bit tired and a bit off. Buy what time you can Claire, it's borrowed time now. Every day is a blessing.
I'm sitting here crying as I know how hard this is. I don't wish this on anyone as it is probably one of the most difficult issues to deal with because you can't explain anything to them. And you can't tell them how much you really love them so you know they understand.
