Tuft on cockers head

Probs a daft question but is it only liver coloured working cockers that have tufts on there heads as I haven't seen many oter colours that have it and I don't think brodie going to have one!

My parents-in-law have a black worker and she has a tuft which I describe as a bit of a mohican!!!  It is bang in the middle of her head and sticks up no matter what you do to it.


Maybe its the same thing as you have but I think it is quite cute really.

I think Most people call it a top knot  ;) daisy is a gold show type, and she would have one if I didn't cut it off because I prefer her without it, but I have seen other cockers that look gorgeous with their top knot full and flowing.  :005:

Our black workers has just started to grow and he is 5 months old he didn't have it when he was smaller.

Haha I hope Brodie gets one ASAP lol just been talking to the breeder I bought her off and she said most if the pups should have one do fingers crossed ;)

Woody has got one, he's a golden working cocker and i love it! i think they look so cute ;) He's had his since about 5 months (he's nearly 7 months now)

Florie has one- she's a blue roan show type...she also has bushy bits at the side of her face that stick out and look like warthog horns  :005:

all my boys are show type...but as you can probably see from my avatar they all have quite substantial top knots  :luv:
it took until they were all about 9-10 months before they started to sprout and then they came through with a vengeance, must be the hormones  ;)
not sure about workers whether they would be the same  :huh:

Tilly our Blue Roan show type has a top knot...and i love it. Erin who is black show type has never had one.
