separation anxiety
« on: May 20, 2012, 10:01:35 AM »
I dont know if anyone can help but my sister has a nearly 3 year old golden cocker spaniel, who up until last week has always been very good at bedtime & in the morning however the last week or so he has been howling at night & early in the morning. It seems that if he wakes up during the night instead of going back to sleep as he always has done, he now howls & barks until someone gets up to him.

Just wondered if anyone could shed some light on why he maybe doing this?

Is he an intact male?  Because if he is, maybe there is a bitch in season living somewhere nearby.
