Hope Dylan get on alright at the vets. My Dylan has had two removed from the ear and one in his paws, under sedation. One grass seed was attached to his ear drum and he was in a lot of discomfort.   The grass seeds seem quite large this year too.  I hate the things >:D  Did think of getting a snood but I don't think he would keep one on.

Let us know how he gets on.

Morning all

The vet has just phoned to say yes it was a grass seed and its out!  Dylan is still asleep so I'm not sure what time I can bring him home.  He will need antibiotics as it was in his ear drum (the bill was already £250 so I guess we will top £300  :o ) but I just want him better.

Thank you so much for your kind words.  Its a huge comfort knowing you guys are always there.

Love Sue and Dylan xxx

So pleased it's been sorted, poor Dylan. I'm in dread of Morgan ever getting a grass seed!

Glad he's OK. Darcey behaved identically when she had one last year. Have bought snoods (troods snoods) but TBH they look like Nora batty in them and my mate already takes the Mick out of our equafleeces so haven't got them used to wearing them yet.

Hi

Dylan is home but very quiet and sleeping a lot.  I assume thats just the anaesthetic.  He is eating which is always a good sign.  And cuddles are at 5 minute intervals just to reduce the chance of any neglect  :005:

Thank you all again for your support.

Love Sue and Dylan xxxx
