car harness like a jigsaw!!

Ok so im new to all of this but thought I better get Sandon a car harness - I only got small and figured he wont be in it long but should get one if we are going to be going on journeys.
However - blimey, it took 2 of us to get it on!!! the poor dog was looking at us both as if to say what the heck are you doing to me!!!
Are there any easy car harnesses out there as im sure he will have outgrown it in a month or so!
Also im assuming it gets easier to put them on for me and him???!!!!!

Rolo used to hate us putting his harness on. He used to bite like crazy but you just need to persevere. They soon get used to it!
We got him the RAC harness in Medium which (at 17 weeks old) he has now grown out of so just about to order the next size up!

He's not at all big but their sizes are very small! He weighs about 7.6 kgs.

I would recommend it as it is the only one i can find with a fastening on the top and the bottom so you dont have to put it over their head!

definitely agree with this. Bingley's first harness went over his head, and it was passable to begin with, but eventually he absolutely hated it, and i hated having to put it on him. Some may be fine with it, but we avoid anything that goes over his head is out of the question for us.

I find Riley,s ezydog walking harness the best for car journeys, So easy to get into, a paw through the front, fastens over the neck , then under the back leg.  It actually comes with a car attachment to fasten to seatbelt, but that doesnt give them much movement so I got the separate seatbelt attachment from amazon for about £5 and its brilliant, you can adjust how much movement you want the dog to have.

Piper would bite my hands when I would put his harness on also. The trick is a biscuit :D He is so busy eating I have no problem and now he throws his head thru the harness knowing his treat is on the way. Also the harness now means fun times are ahead for him.

Molly has the ezydog chest plate harness with seatbelt attachment; two clips (neither over the head) and it's on  :D

Another vote here for the Ezydog chest plate harness, really easy to get on and off.  We had a car harnass when Otto was little and that was so complicated that he ended up being quite distressed by the time we got it on him.

The beauty of the ezy dog is that if your out with them using it when walking , its straight into the car and you dont have to change harness.

After a recommendation from Jan I also got a clix and it's fab, just click into the seatbelt and that's it. We can clip Roxy's lead on to the end when walking as I prefer her on a harness than a collar as she can be a puller at times!

Riley is 5 months, weighs 9.5kg and wears a small one, plenty room for growing too.

Sandon is only 10 weeks and weighs 5.1kg - is he too small for one? vet told me today car harnesses dont work properly until they are 15k?

Charlie has a harness for walking and an attachment from p@h to clip it to the seat belt so it'll always fit any harness he has.
