Do your dogs bark when the door bell goes?

How do you stop them?

I don't have a doorbell, but my two bark like anything when a doorbell goes on the TV  :-\

My Papillon barks at the doorbell or knocking on the door. My Cockers ignore it  :luv: Alfie is only 10 weeks so I am hoping he doesn't pick up bad habits from my Papillon. I am trying to nip his behaviour in the bud but it is proving very difficult  >:D >:D

Mum also to Basil - Black show type DOB 31/03/2000 and Eddie - Brown and white sable Papillon DOB 01/01/2011

I am quite ashamed to say that I have failed miserably with the door bell and visitors.  Once people are through the door I have angels....absolute angels.

I have tried all kinds of things.....they don't even respond to treats as a reward for sit/stay when the door bell goes. It is manic.
No longer in my arms, but forever in my heart, my girls at the Bridge, Lily and Freya. Xx

Completely the same here  :embarassed: the only thing that works is if there's two of us in the house, one of us has to leg it into he kitchen shrieking with excitement and he tends to follow.
