Season confusion
« on: August 16, 2012, 10:44:26 PM »
I think Willow is in the early stages of her season but I'm confused as she came into season when I first rescues her and this was in April.  Is this normal for a bitch to come into season so soon after the last one.  I'm totally gutted as I am due to go camping on saturday with Archie and her and now don't know what to do.  Archie has tried humping her several times although he has been done, but they did manage to tie once last time but my parents are also coming and Ollie their 7month cocker is entire.  Willow was due to be spayed tuesday just gone but the laproscopy machine broke down so they have had to delay it.  Grrrrrrrrrrr any suggestions?  Anyone want a cocker for a week?  :005:

Vet confirmed, Willow is in season.  Delightful timing as ever.  Thankfully my brother has taken pity and will have her, but I am gutted.  I so wanted her to come.  She loves the beach.  Thankfully the laparoscopy machine should be back end of next week so I can get her in as soon as I am back..  What a disaster though.

you can always rely on a cocker to sod up the greatest plans... :005:

although just wanted to say how responsible you are in not taking her whilst in season....we went away in the caravan last week to a beautiful site where there were lots of dogs and we encountered 4 people there with dogs in season...i was shocked  :o :o.... i would never take any of my girls away in season.

the poor male dogs on the site were pining, howling and a couple of owners said their dogs has been a little aggressive which was very out of character, so give yourself a pat on the back for making the best decision.  :D

My Willows seasons are every 4 months, which is a nightmare.
