Just take yourself, puppy, treats, vac card, a sense of humour and a positive attitude :)
I hope you enjoy it.

We were also asked to take water and bowl, as they get quite thirsty with all that concentration (and treats!). Good luck!

Defiantely treats , high value ones if possible, we didnt have to take water as they had several water bowls out for the dogs.
Also remember always have a poop bag in your pocket incase pup has an accident while taking part in tasks, its not convenient to run back to your chair where your bag is and you will want to clean up quick without fuss.

Well we went :D there was quite a few there so a bit boring really with lots of standing around but im sure it will be better next week, Millie absolutley loved meeting the other pups so really glad we went and i did enjoy it just expected more to be going on than there was. Millie did really well for her first time around other dogs and was very friendly to everybody so im a proud mummy she was well fussed and commented on  :luv: got chatting to a couple of people and everyone seemed nice which is lovely, will take her again next week  :D she even came back with a stag bar we got at the shop  :luv: :luv: great opportunity to meet and greet and i am sure we will start to learn little bits along the way
just thought id give a little report that we went hehe xx

i thnk puppy classes are as much about socialisation for the puppies as training (which of course is important).  Some puppies find it very difficult to concentrate and owners often give up at this point, but as long as the owner is listening to the training techniques in the meantime the puppy is getting to be socialable around other dogs.

Totally agree - socialisation alone is a good reason to persevere  ;)

As for a wake up call at 8.30 - I would kill for a lie in until then  :-\
