Hello everybody

(1/2) > >>

droopy:
Hi, my name's Drew and I have just joined the forum.

I am hoping to find one, or maybe two, cockers to offer a new home to.

I recently had to have my beloved spaniel Sam put down. He was originally a rescue dog from the RSPCA who I re-homed.

He was at least three when I got him and we spent another very happy 14 years together.

I  miss him hugely - particularly as I work from home and had got so used to his company.

I know that there is no way to replace him but, as he was my first experience of the breed, I am now eager to find out whether all cockers are as affectionate and devoted...I'm also hoping that they may be a little more obedient but I think that's more my problem than theirs!

Anyway we now live in a small village near Frome in Somerset and I hope will be able to provide a good and loving home for a rescued dog.

Cockersonline is a fab idea and I have been busily trawling thru the various noticeboards and sites gathering some really useful bits of info.

It's great to know there's someone out there with the answer to virtually any spaniel-related query.

Cheers

Hi Drew,

sorry for the loss of Sam, i am a newbie to this site as well and your right there is lots of good information on here.

Keep us informed on when you have a new cocker, even though he or she will not be the same as Sam, you will still have lots of love and cuddles for the new dog.

take care
