Forum Upgrade
« on: February 06, 2008, 01:40:26 PM »
Wednesday 6th February 2008

Due to an unscheduled maintenance window we have the opportunity to upgrade the forum software. We will therefore be starting upgrade works this afternoon, forum access will be intermittent, we will update this post once the upgrade is complete. We will endeavour not to lose any posts which are being posted as the upgrade takes place but some posts may be affected.
Our apologies for the lack of advance warning.

Regards
Stueymac

I couldn't log on about 1pm today but I presume that's cos you were doing things - it kept coming up saying

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: User cockerso_stueyma has already more than 'max_user_connections' active connections in /home/cockerso/public_html/includes/db/mysql.php on line 34

I suddenly can't see the photo of Charlie on the homepage - would that have something to do with the upgrade?

Do you mean in the top left hand corner of the homepage?

There's just a box with a cross in it (on the homepage, that is) - on the forum page, I can see the photo.

Thats ok, this is caused by the upgrade, the software we use for the homepage wasnt really made for this version of the forum. However as the homepages are going to change anyway I think we'll just have to live with the broken pics for a little while. Thanks for spotting the problem though if there's anymore please post the details.
