Peeing on my leg

Hi,

Alfie my 18 month old entire dog has started to wee against my leg. He has done it twice out on walks and has started to do it in the home. Has anybody any ideas as to why he would be behaving in this way, and is there anything I should or should not be doing ?

It could well be the washing powder that you're using..... if I remember rightly the biological ones can leave an ammonia type smell that the dog thinks is scent and so marks that spot (which is why you shouldn't use biological cleaners for cleaning up accidents in the house).

At 18 months he is rapidly reaching maturity... all my dogs are neutered, but I'm sure there'll be folks with more experience of this on soon.
