Title: Ben has passed away
Post by: pamela on June 18, 2009, 04:37:35 PM: I'm just devastated, Ben died in the early hours yesterday. He took a seizure that the vet thinks may have been related to the neurological issues he was having recently but he was only 9 and I thought I would have him for a few years yet.
The only consolation is that he was at home with me but it's so hard.

I couldn't get through the posts without a good cry but I think that helped too.
Even though the pain is still raw, I have some lovely memories of Ben and we had a good life together, I know he would only have got worse so I am grateful he went now and at home where we all loved him.
I was so sad to hear about Gari and Poppy too.
