Please wish my boy a peaceful passing. We are off to the vets at 3.30pm this afternoon as Jasper has let me know that it is his time :'(

And as for mum...no words will make you feel any better but we all know what you are going through and how hard, oh so hard, it is. ((xx)) Take time to grieve just now. There will come a time when you can look back over the years with a smile and a warm feeling in your heart.

Soory to hear about Jasper, I recently had to have my Bailey pts and someone sent me this poem, so I'm passing it on as I thought it was beautiful and it says everything :012:
You're giving me a special gift,

Thank you everyone. He went very quietly and in my arms. It was the right time and I am 'happy' that I was able to recongise that and put my own feelings out of my mind to support him in the way that he needed me to.
The house is very, very quiet without him. Jasper was my first cocker spaniel and my first rescue as an adult. I adored him so much, that I ended up with 2 more cocker spaniels :005: he was the ultimate stoodge dog and accepted every foster dog that I brought home, whether it be a litter of puppies or an awkward adult dog with no manners.
I love you Jasper and miss you so very much :'(

I completely understand what you mean about knowing when it's the right time for them and putting your own feelings aside :luv:. It's one year today that we to had to make the decision for our little chap Max (westie) we miss him every day :'(, but will always remember the good funny times with him.
