Wow. What a noise

So I go upstairs this afternoon leaving Tessa at the bottom behind the baby gate.  She yawns, whines and yowls all in one go.  It lasted for about 5 seconds.  I wish I could have recorded it, it was incredible.  It was nearly as funny as the little noises she makes in her sleep.  Weird!

They really do make the funniest noises don't they...Stanley makes the saddest, most pathetic howl when we shut him in his cage...luckily he soon settles down x

Btw what did Tessa make to the storm last night? I went down to check on Stanley and he was flat out, totally not bothered...unlike me

She didn't wake up at all. Slept through from 10.45 to 7 this morning.  Not a peep out of her.  She loves her beauty sleep.

Once years ago I was in the attic pottering and my old dog was, I think, on the landing.  I heard someone say my name - Diane.  I was all alone in the house and I even went looking to see if anyone had come in but there was no one.  I came to the conclusion it was the dog yawning, but it was so real and lifelike I've never forgotten it.  Weird.
