........it's 9 o'clock at night, it's dark, wet, windy and I am stood in the woods after at the night walk chatting to dogs telling my Sash what beautiful good girl she is and how much she lives up to her name Sasha Belle. Just to make sure I don't leave Chloe, springer, out as I love her too, I can't believe a found myself telling her (in the same wood at the same time) that she has really been springing well tonight and so gracefully!

You take the wooden legs of the arm chair to lower it,  the arm chair the auld lad likes to sit in cose he cant climb up onto it any more.  Then even now he cant get on it so he waits and looks and knows I will do my firemans lift and gently place him onto the chair into his favourite position.  You have given me 14 years of love, friendship and joy nothing it too much trouble now in your Autumn years.

Lovely replies. Our latest one is getting up 1 - 3 times in the night because our old lady needs to go out for a wee. Weekend lie ins a thing of the past because she gets restless past 5.30am.

We do that as well.  OH does the during the night wees and I get up at 6 or earlier to give Charlie his heart meds, and stay up and spend some just me time with auld lad, and I stay up a bit later at night to coax a poo before going to bed.  Wouldnt be able to sleep to have a lie in I am well and truly trained.
