RIP Archie
« on: November 12, 2015, 10:59:11 AM »
Just to let all those who have been following our story on here know that my Archie was PTS this morning.  He went peacefully in my arms whilst I completely lost it  :'(

I had been working so hard with him over the past two months and was achieving some progress.  However, completely out of the blue, last night he launched himself at my daughter and bit her again, he was like a rabid animal  :'(   For the rest of the evening, he was back to his happy-go-lucky self as if nothing had happened and I just knew that the problem in his brain couldn't be fixed.

We enjoyed a lovely walk this morning and lots of cuddles.

Devastated is simply not a big enough word for what we're feeling, especially after losing Odie so young two years ago.

RIP Archie, find angel Odie over the rainbow.   Lesley
Both taken away from us far too soon. x  RIP Angels Odie & Archie, causing mayhem at the Rainbow, no doubt!

So sorry for what you have been thro' with Archie, such a dreadful decision to have to make, but the best course of action for you both I think, painful as it is for you.

Heartbreaking, so sorry for you and your family.  I don't think you were left with any option in the circumstances, you've done your best for him and loved him through it all.

Am so sorry to hear that Archie had to be PTS, but it seems that very sadly there was no fix for the problems he had and you had no choice in the end.

So so sad but the right decision my daughter had to make the same decision with her springer this summer very very hard but like you her & the vet felt it was brain issues that was making her unstable

So would change in a split second

My thoughts are with you

Rest in peace little one. Well done for being strong enough to make such a hard decision. I'm sure he knew how much he was loved, and can rest peacefully now xxx

Love from Polly and Monty!
