Brilliant idea!!

I can't imagine why this hasn't been on tv before now!  We are bombarded with programmes about unruly kids/teens - so why not dogs!!  :D

I am really looking forward to this one!

I read somewhere that it's not very good. Can't remember where, nor why.

Might give it a try anyway. Thanks for the reminder.

It will be interesting to see how much of it is down to the actual owners rather than the dogs themselves, bit like super nanny when a lot of the times the parents are as much to blame. Should be good

It will certainly be interesting to watch, though i think its more a question of 'training' the owners to train the dogs properly :D

TB...You are obviously a young thing and do not remember Dame Barbara Woodhouse. She had a dog training programme on a Sunday Evening on BBC1 in the late 70's.

Mind you, I'll bet this new prog is all P.C and does not use much of Ms Woodhouse's training methods. I remember "give a good pull on the choke chain" being one of her favourites!!!!!

I remember her well    According to barbara, all that was needed to train your dog was a choker chain, and a quick sharp yank!  :o   even the owners were terrified of her.

It's on channel 4, Wednesday at 8.30.

Description from the website.......

Dogs: they should be man's best friend, but instead the UK is overrun by canine humping, biting, barking, crapping and stealing. And it's got to stop! Enter dog behaviourist Victoria Stillwell

It looks great! :D

Mmmm, it sounds to me like its another chance for the media to reinforce the stereotypes of different breeds - I hope I'm wrong   <_<

Who is Victoria Stillwell, does anyone know? I can't find one article or book written by her referenced on the web, and she is described as "having no fear" of any dog and believing that all non-breeding dogs should be castrated as it makes them easier to train  <_<
