Just caught up with this. What an awful time you have had Ailleen. I'm so sorry.

Buddy howls when left in his crate, but we think he's settled well without it now. We are open plan too, so just make sure he's confined to downstairs with the stair gate. We have left im for up to 4 hrs now and he seems ok.

Hi everyone!

Well, Beau is still with us and is doing really well.

He actually seems happier now he has the one to one attention rather than Sophie being here giving off "stressed out chick" vibes!  :P

He is doing well when left alone, still leaving him in the crate as I am not quite sure that he wouldn't still soil the carpet if left out of the crate.  Strangely though, since Sophie left he has not pee'd or poo'd in the house more than twice - whereas when Sophie was here it was a few times a day with no warning that he needed out!  :unsure:

So, all things seem to be going well so far!

Thank God, and thank all you guys for giving me the hope that I needed to carry on with him  :)
