:: :: Billy is a show cocker and is 17" height and 22" length and is 19.6kgs ::
I have been worrying about his weight but this thread has highlighted than he is much bigger than the average cocker, therefore is bound to be heavier. I am continuing with the weight loss but don't think i'll be aiming towards the 14kg anymore

he's 'big-boned' jan (i've been using that excuse for myself for years.... :
:
). i think this has been a really interesting topic - the sizes of both show's and working cocker's vary wildly, and billy is not enormous! i hope this has made you less worried about his size - when you can see a waist, and feel his ribs easily then he's the right weight.
i've got a scrawny teenager at the moment, all legs and kevin attitude - but i guess this is the growth spurt before the grown up 'filling out'. i don't think he'll be the traditional 'bigger than show cocker' working cocker, his parents are petite too.
