I have just had Ruby weighed today at the vets.

She's nearly 5 months old and weighs 7.45kg.   :luv:  I was quite worried that she was getting fat but the vet reassured me and said she was fine.

I am so glad. I'm always on a diet. I didn't want Ruby to have to be too! :005:  :005:

Well Vahri and Rufters (working Cockers), surprise me - Vahri looks much bigger than Rufus but infact weights less.

Vahri is 14.5 kgs and Ruffy is 15kg - big puppies, but definately not fat.

At one time Domino was 14kg but we weighed him the other week & he's now 12.8kg.

I actually think he looks better with slightly less weight on him;however I wouldn't want him to be any thinner so I've increased his food a little. I think he burns off a lot of calories running around;he would chase his kong all day if he could!! ;)

kimmi, now nearly three was weighed last week at vets and came in at 13.7kg.  she looks alot skinnier that that as she has such long legs, and i get embarrased when people say "oh what a lovely small springer",  I have to bite my tonge and very politely say that she is a COCKER

Holly is 2 1/2 years old and weighs 9.5kg - she is small and perfectly formed in my opinion - not biaised at all

Pip her daughter is coming up to six months old and weighs in at 7kg! Think she might end up bigger than her mummy :luv:

Cockers seem to have an amazing range of size, build and coat length.

Holly is smooth coated but Pip looks like one of those guinea pigs who's coat goes in all directions (sorry Pip). Hopefully when she gets rid of the puppy fluff she'll take after her mum.

Maddy was weighed last week and at 10 months she is 15kg. She has a waist and you can't see but can fel her ribs, she was spayed a couple of months ago.
The vet said she is "porky and too heavy" and suggest Hills Light  :o I was always under the impression "Light" diets were an absolute No No before 12 months old.On this occasion I haven't taken the vet's advice, she only gets raw veggies now as treats, she only ever had a couple of small biscuits beofre  :'(

Blue is just over 15kg and is 11 months, like Maddy she has a waist and you can feel her ribs.  Our vet says that she is fine at this weight because she has a big build .  Charlie , our elder dog is smaller in size and weighs 13.5 kg and little Sasha at nearly 9 months wieghs just 8kg and is tiny.  I was under the impression that as long as the dog had a waist and looked in proportion it was fine.

Ollie (20months) weighs about 9kg and Darcy (3) is 12.5kg
We were really worried about Ollie but he eats loads just will never put weight on.
